COME ONE, COME ALL! Join us for a night of beautiful music and great Northern Michigan wines and help our Team Member, Katy Tate meet her Fundraising goal!

“Hey everyone! Most of you probably know me as Katy, one of the Team Members at Up North Wine Tasting Room, but you might not know that I am graduating from college this semester & starting some new adventures!

I feel lead to serve in Cala-Cali, Ecuador. Ecuador is an amazingly beautiful country full of beautiful people, but unfortunately, poverty is rather prevalent. I am hoping to serve January 2024-May 2024 at a base called El Refugio that is dedicated to serving the local community; seeking food, freedom & forgiveness for all people (El Refugio is under One Collective). One Collective is anthropologically sound & so dedicated to honoring & serving all people & cultures in a wholistic way. Part of my time serving in Ecuador will be to partner alongside local community leaders to seek community development.

That is where all of you lovely people come in! In order for me to serve, I need people to partner with me. I am hoping to raise $5,000 by the end of December 2023 for my room & board so that I can go & serve. I am hosting a Fundraiser at Up North (thank you Mary, Amy & Cathy!!!!) on Thursday, November 16th starting at 7pm. I will be putting on a little concert & will get to chat, spend time & drink some delicious Blustone wine with all of my friends, family & favorite guests. I would be so honored & grateful if you come!
