Dave became known as an expert in biodynamic farming while at Grgich Hills and was asked to consult on some of the most notable vineyards in Napa Valley.  This gave him access to some incredible fruit and led Dave and his wife Jackie to create BOS Wine.  They saw great potential in regions outside of CA and moved back to Traverse City, where Dave got his start.  They are excited to be part of the growth happening in the Michigan wine industry.  Together they opened BOS Wine Garden in Elk Rapids, MI in 2021.
